Для тестирования надо распаковать архив в отдельную папку и запустить QuoteRoom.exe. Окно приложения должно выглядеть примерно так, как на прилагаемом скриншоте.
Изменения в версии:
1. Данные могут поступать с сервера quoteroom.ddns.net:2595.
2. История скачивается с Gelium.net. Архивы в формате 7zip. Скорость докачки истории увеличена. Архивы за большой интервал на сервер пока не загружены. Позже будет выложена большая готовая база с историей. История в формате XPO поддерживаться не будет.
3. Плавающее окошко пока отключено и работает в режиме встроенного блока справа.
4. Мелкие косметические улучшения интерфейса.

Для меня было важно запустить Мультчарт в онлайн.
Мультчарт нормально подхватил котировки FXX:GBP из TS 9.1, графики рисует правильно на 99,9% (ошибок пока не заметил).

Мультчарт нормально подхватил котировки FXX:GBP из TS 9.1, графики рисует правильно на 99,9% (ошибок пока не заметил).
Мульт нормально подхватывает обновляемые текстовики, но на будущее можно рассмотреть вариант передачи тиковой истории в Мульт через TS.

Yesterday, I did not know what was the problem. I could not load BTC A0-FX. Could not find the symbol in Format Symbol Lookup. There was a symbol with blank name. Just now, I experimented and found the SIGNAL symbol was missing in Portfolio. I edited the symbol in, relaunched and now can load the symbol.
ps: After reading that stividor copied the database over to the beta, I did the same today. It works and so I do not need to set up a test computer. I am using the production computer.

I trial and error this morning. There are three places in QR where I can set the synonym. Can't find in the Help file what the implication will be for each of the settings. I found out by trial that the synonym setting in TradeStation Service affect the symbol in the charts. The other two in History Database Service I do not know what effect and consequence. So I set all three to NONE and test. Now I can use EUR, etc. like in the Floating Window which is the same as "Reuter/Telerate" symbol methodology.
I am using TS9.1 build 12098 (can't remember why I did not update to 12880, there was a reason). So I think I cannot use the FXX: prefix.

For the charting erroneous low=0 plot, I found the solution. Usually happen in monthly and weekly chart and sometimes they don't update with new data that update in the daily chart side by side in same workspace. I guess was some sort of "linking/data transfer error" from server to TS9.1 so I delete the chart and recreated it again. The charting error is gone.
Ctrl+R - updates the data on the chart.

Извините, но пока перебои в передаче данных могут быть. Для работы используйте старую версию Форексайт, которую будут поддерживать как минимум до нового года. Для тестирования - новую версию.
Когда всё будет настроено так, что перебоев с данными быть не должно, напишу об этом дополнительно.

3. Экспорт истории за текущий день выполняется раз в 10 секунд, поэтому докачка и автоматический запуск tradestation выполняются быстрее.

I have set up a test computer that only run QR 2007 Beta and TS9.1. I am running it side by side with another computer with QR 2021.08 b1601 and TS9.1. On both computers I set up tick charts and 1min charts. Now being weekend and only crypto are live, I test on BTC and ETH.
I do not use tick charts and 1min charts but am doing this just for the purpose that I have a visual that the feed/charts are alive and updating. So far they been running for about 24 hours and there is no stoppage. I do realize now and then the QR 2007 beta may skip some ticks, about 10 ticks or thereabout in 15 minutes. While sometimes there is no skip. Minimal effect on the 1min charts and defintely no effect on 5min and higher charts.

I used to do this test back in Bridge/Telerate days when bank customers complained about the feed problem on Telerate TradeStation 2000i. Can happen when the data feed go through different nodes.

I have also tested shut down QR beta 2007 (and TS9.1) for 1 hour. Then restart and QR beta 2007 load data to latest time (auto fill the gap) and launch TS9.1.

I see what you mean and understand a bit more of how things work. I checked the "No data from source" settings and it is unchanged at 30 sec (Restart) per the default for first row. The second row is 60 second (Restart).
Right now all working good, no skip in tick. Weekday more data updates.

When loading data from QR-History, the QR-History Dialog "lose focus" while the main QR Main window "get focus". The QR-History drop behind the QR Main window. If not aware, QR may seem no response when actually the hidden behind QR-History is the active dialog waiting for "event".

Meanwhile when scroll down the symbol list in Portfolio, when come to the end, a small dialog auto pop up to add symbol. This is still there since past versions. Not sure what is the purpose when there will be no data.

It was about the automatic addition of symbols to the portfolio during the launch of QR. For example, you could remove the euro/dollar, restart QR, and see that symbol again in the portfolio.

2) The last 4 symbols in Portfolio, their description is garbled. Probably unicode issue. BTC A0-FX in the SIGNAL list at top right of Portfolio is empty. I can edit them but would have to re-do for every new versions.

I had thought of posting this question in the TS thread but it does not look like a TS solution.
The issue:
Due to a US holiday last week, some non-FX symbols closed early (i.e. before normal session ends) on Thu and Fri. This cause dash in price.
In TS2000i, I remove the data in GlobalServer and the dash don't show therefore the indicators rightfully do not update during the "empty period". Session Time should not be changed because only for these 2 particular days this particular week only.
Can data editing be done in QR?

У кого-нибудь получилось импортировать в новый QuoteRoom историю? Скачал с данного сайта базу данных, но когда заменяю ей созданную в самой программе базу, выходит сообщение, что база данных повреждена и предлагается её исправить. Нажимаю OK, минут 30 что-то там происходит, но потом пытаюсь открыть данные из QuoteRoom, и там ничего не отображается. Хотел импортировать данные в формате ASCII, но там распакованный текстовый файл 9.4 гигабайта - не хочет из-за размера открываться ни в какой программе, и импорт из него в самой QuoteRoom у меня тоже не работает. Просьба к Gelium: можно ли в его программе прописать на выбор адрес форексайтовского сервера исторических данных, чтобы скачать и импортировать их непосредственно в программу, пока ещё их сервер работает?

Has anyone managed to import history into the new QuoteRoom?
I did. I downloaded the QuoteRoom Database 1996-2022.11.23.7z from the link in post #42, unzip and copied the 5 files into the QR Database folder and update to current date. The 5 files are direct replacement. Some symbol data goes further back to 1996.

If you have Forexite QR still running and updating, you can copy the 5 files from the Database folder and replace those in the Beta. But do note that after this some Forexite symbols removed from support will not be updating and newly added symbols will not have history.

Никто не запрещает базу данных из каталога QR Forexite просто переписать в каталог QR Gelium. Вы можете вообще в обоих программах одну базу использовать. В настройках укажите один каталог с базой для обоих программ. Просто не запускайте обе программы одновременно.
Пока Forexite ничего не отключают. Так что легкий испуг и запасной сервер для спокойствия. :D

No one forbids the database from the QR Forexite catalog to simply rewrite it into the QR Gelium catalog. You can generally use the same database in both programs. In the settings, specify one directory with the base for both programs. Just don't run both programs at the same time.

Что значит не работает? На сайте есть инструкция, что делать и я этим импортом не раз успешно пользовался.
Делаю всё по инструкции, указываю для импорта этот огромный текстовый файл - в QuoteRoom отображается процесс импорта, но очень быстро для такого объёма данных - потом проверяю наличие данных в редакторе, но там ничего нет. Не знаю, если у других всё получается, то могу грешить только на какие-то проблемы у меня на компьютере.

Разобрался из-за чего у меня была ошибка при импорте базы данных из оригинального QuoteRoom. Новую QuoteRoom я распаковал и запускал из нестандартной папки, после того, как распаковал и стал запускать её из стандартной папки Program Files (там, где находится оригинальный QuoteRoom), всё импортировалось и читается без ошибок.

Странно, должно работать в любой папке без установки и танцев с бубнами...

I am exploring using DDE to keep my TS 2000i working live even after XPO cease to be supported. However, I don't seem to get the QR DDE working. There appears to be two different DDE request format:
QuoteRoom_RTD.xls: =RTD("qr.coqr","","BID,GBPUSD")
Spreadsheet showing #N/A
Help File: =QR|BID!GBPUSD
Getting error "Cannot run 'QR.EXE'. The program or one of its components is damaged or missing."

I happen to have bought MetaServer RT DDE 3.1 back in 2003 and haven't used it shortly after. RT Soft helped to re-activate 3.2. After much trial and error I get it working with the MT4 DDE Server. I am testing it to see whether DDE is feasible. Should there be a stoppage for whatever reason, importing daily data using MT4 csv is no issue. The only problem is importing 1 min data.

Vertical divider tend to snap to the right border when moving it to resize the right quote pane. To bring it back in, need to Maximize the main window and pull the divider back. If window is not maximized, the divider is stuck to the right.

I thought something wrong on the charts so I patch the historical data from 23 Nov via "Request history" and "History downloading for selected period of time". After re-download, I check a few symbols and the data for 25 Nov is still missing. Refresh charts a few times didn't help. Then I do "Data import" with the 25 Nov file in the Import Folder and this works.
Wonder why would not patch automatically.

In theory, everything should work automatically. But in practice, there may still be uncorrected errors in the program. ;)

Most likely, you have run out of free disk space. Expand the virtual disk and everything will work. :)

Most likely, you have run out of free disk space. Expand the virtual disk and everything will work. :)
Yes. You are right. I increase the RAM to 2GB (wasn't aware that the set up default was a meagre 512 MB). Disk capacity 126GB. I restart afresh with Database as of 24 Nov and update up to current.
No issue, just for info: WinXP "wardrobe malfunction" in that the Forexite main page doesn't show may be WinXP cannot support newer web standards. See the blank main pane in post #69. No issue since this set up is for testing purpose.

There were still some violation in the XP Mode VM. So I run it in a "real" Win7 computer now.
I went through all the log files in the Log folder in the Win7 (No FHS.log). Except for two areas, all others look okay.

I have notice this for a while. It seems that a "Reload (Ctrl+R)" might show that the data may not be commited to the database in realtime. After the "Reload", the data gaps suddenly appear and then become persistent.

You are absolutely right. I forgot to include data for these characters in the database. After the new year, the data will be added to the database.

1) When I want to "History downloading for selected period of time", after I set the from and till dates, I don't know which button should I click. Sometime the Open button nothing happen. Then if I click too many buttons, the dialog appear to freeze and return after I leave it alone.
2) Which button should I click if I want to "Request history" Text(ASCII)? Apply?

Instead of the Download translation, you see the Open translation. To download the history, click the Open button. The story is available for download in a couple of months. Of course it is always better for it to be set by system and the EL Reserved Word BigPointValue auto pick it up. If unable to edit the Big Point value anywhere, I can still work around. I can use an Input Variable, say BigPointVal and manually input the value and change my EL code to use BigPointVal instead of the BigPointValue Reserved Word. I use this to calculate dollar value volatility and position size.

The Big Point Value parameter is set inside the QR code and cannot be changed through the configuration. You can change the number of decimal places. This will change the Big Point Value parameter. In my opinion, the parameter is set conveniently and I see no reason to change it for the user through external parameters. Explain for what symbol and why do you want to change the Big Point Value parameter?

BigPointValue is usually set to the contract size. I will just list a few of the symbols where the BigPointValue is very different:
Brent: 100
Gold: 100
Gas: 2,500
Copper: 2,500
FX: 100,000
The above is full size CFD. Small size is available at 1/10 to 1/100 of the above contract size. If can change the setting then the EL will take the value and correctly apply to smaller account size and position size.
Attached is the EL to calculate position size per entry. N is similar to ATR.

Скорее всего, единичный сбой. Без логов разбираться не с чем. Днем выложу версию, которая автоматически импортирует историю из текстовиков. Текстовики можно генерировать с помощью Gelium_Exporter. Желающие, для надежности могут настроить себе связку с МТ4, пока я не найду время сделать более надежный скрипт загрузки истории на сервер.

Время баров должно быть в часовом поясе GMT1.

В 2101 ничего принципиально в плане закачки истории не менялось. Возможно это был единичный глюк. Причина проблемы по логам не понятна. В логах написано, что все нормально, история загружена. У вас на скриншоте нет даже списка символов в редакторе. Что-то перекосило, а что, не понятно.

В субботу 28.10.23 база вообще глюкнула – из 8,8 Гб стала 55 Мб.
Как это произошло - не знаю, ничего не трогал.
Скачал базу по 15.10.2023, обновил, работает.

К слову - за 30.10.23 история закачана в "QuoteRoom\History\Download\", но в базу не импортировна.
Вытаскиваю из архива ТХТ файл и через History Database - Импорт пополняю базу.

Эфир лучше засорять. Если есть баг, то стоит его поправить. Через контекстное меню можно быстро порешать проблему, если на тиковом графике точно после импорта дыра остается. Пока не понятно в чем проблема. Сам с такой не сталкивался, но мы с вами всего два человека, которые используют эту версию.

But it should not be like this because all other symbols that do not have this problem, the last date is current, i.e. today Sun. If I accidentally save the chart with the Last Date setting, I may be seeing stale chart come tomorrow and onwards when I do not realise.

I can't reproduce your problem. Any graphs are built normally.
I doubt that you need real time on daily, weekly and monthly charts. Therefore, generate text files using "ASCII Maker" and build graphs based on text files (https://gelium.net/soft-ts/tradestation-main/ts-platform/item/1188-ts-chart-based-on-text-file). You will not have any problems and the problem with zero price will disappear.

I can't reproduce your problem. Any graphs are built normally.
I doubt that you need real time on daily, weekly and monthly charts. I recall a similar problem when I was with Telerate. At that time was still the Cruz brothers and the version was TS4.0. They were not ready for international use with data from different part of the world (read time-zone). So we always had problem with 24-hour FX data.
I suspected this problem I am having with some symbols may be a time-zone issue so on another computer I set time zone to UTC (GMT). DAX and UKZ loads. The other still no.
Update:
UTC + 1 and the problem with the stated symbols return.
No problem. I will work around.

What difference does it make how the data gets into Tradestation? From the QR or from a text file that is created using data from the QR? Charts are built without problems. Real time for weekly or monthly data is not needed. If you need real time on daily charts, build 1440 minute charts.

The idea is not to have to build "non-native" data sets if there is already available data. Not an issue if can't identify the problem. I can create separate workspaces for these symbols specifically for weekend use by adjusting the Last Date.
What difference does it make how the data gets into Tradestation? From the QR or from a text file that is created using data from the QR? Charts are built without problems. Real time for weekly or monthly data is not needed. If you need real time on daily charts, build 1440 minute charts.
It is only a weekend problem and these symbols are not trading. Like I said, I can create special workspaces and change the Last Date. They is really no need to unnecessarily create data that already exist. Or I can use the data from MT4/MetaServerRT/GlobalServer.
It is okay like I said no issue. I shall not clog up the airwave. Thanks anyway.

Спасибо. Мне приходят уведомления от мониторинга. Перебои с электричеством. Свободного бесперебойника на месте нет.
